It is New Hampshire's 22nd largest by population . The census designated place encompasses an area of 1.8 square miles (4.66 square kilometre ), of which, 1.65 square miles (4.27 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.15 square miles (0.39 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the ninth smallest by size in New Hampshire.
