Piedmont City is a one of the Canadian and Kingfisher counties, Oklahoma, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Piedmont City had an official population of 3650 in 2000. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 5504, It is the 89th largest in terms of population. The city comprises an area of 43.92 sq mi (113.75 sq km), of which, 43.82 square miles (113.49 sq km) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 sq km) of it is water, making it the 17th largest by size in Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3650 residents, 1226 households, and 1084 families in the city. The population density was 83.3 people per square mile (32.16/kmē), it is 122nd least densely populated city in Oklahoma. There were 1270 housing units at an average density of 29 per square mile (11.2/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.98 persons, and the average family size was 3.18 persons. In the city Age distribution was 31.5% under the age of 18, 6.4% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 23.2% from 45 to 64, and 6.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.3 males. The median age was 35.2 years, the median age of male residents at 35.4 and the median age of female residents at 35.1. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 3405 White, 17 Black or African American, 106 American Indian, 1 Asian, 2 Native Hawaiian, 88 from two or more races and 31 Ohter races.
