Piedmont City is a city located in the Alameda County, California, United States. In 2000, the population was 10952. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 10481, making it the 422nd most populous in California. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.69 mi˛ (4.38 square kilometre), making it the 233rd smallest by size in California.
