Pickens Town is a town located in the Pickens County, South Carolina, United States. In 2000, the population was 3012. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 3026, making it the 129th most populous in South Carolina. It is spread over 2.47 square miles (6.4 kmē), of which, 2.45 square miles (6.35 kmē ) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 215th largest by total area in South Carolina.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3012 people, 1281 households, and 794 families residing in the town.
