Picher City is a United States city located in the Ottawa County, Oklahoma, United States. As of 2000 the population was 1640. The July 2008 population estimate is 1555, It is the 159th largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 2.23 sq mi (5.78 sq km), makes it the 275th largest by total area in Oklahoma.
