Philadelphia City, Mississippi is a city of the Neshoba County, Mississippi, United States. Philadelphia City had an official population of 7303 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 7977, It is the 47th most populous in the U.S. state of Mississippi. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 10.63 sq mi (27.53 square kilometre), of which, 10.61 square miles (27.48 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Mississippi's 59th largest by total area.

The population density was 688.1 people per square mile (265.68/kmē), it would be the 128th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
