Pewaukee Village is a city in the Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 8170 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 8801, It is Wisconsin's 90th largest by population . The city encompasses an area of 4.4 mi˛ (11.4 sq km ), of which, 4.11 square miles (10.64 sq km) of it is land and 0.29 square miles (0.75 sq km) of it is water, it is the 145th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 8170 people, 76 households, and 48 families living in the city. The population density was 1986.2 people per square mile (766.88/km˛), it is Wisconsin's 74th most densely populated city. There were 3761 housing units at an average density of 915.1 per square mile (353.32/km˛). The average household size was 2.19 and the average family size was 2.89. Age range in the city was well distributed with 22.2% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 37.3% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 12.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 90.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.6 males. The median age of the city's population was 35.5 years, the median age of male residents at 34.5 and the median age of female residents at 36.4. The racial makeup of the city was 7859 White, 47 Black or African American, 18 American Indian, 147 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 70 from two or more races and 29 Ohter races.
