Petronila City is a city located in Nueces County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 83. Its population was estimated at 79 in July 2008, giving it the 28th smallest population among Texas. Its area is just over 1.79 sq mi (4.64 sq km), making it the 932nd largest by size in Texas.
