Petrolia City is a one of the Clay County, Texas, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 782 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 776, It is Texas's 1005th largest by population . The city encompasses an area of 0.74 square miles (1.92 sq km), makes it the 200th smallest by total area in Texas.
