Petersburg Town is a town in the Lincoln and Marshall counties, Tennessee, United States. The town has a population of 580 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 603, It is 75th least populous in Tennessee. The town extends throughout a territory of 0.92 sq mi (2.38 sq km ), it is the 39th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
