According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1282, It is the 594th largest by population in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city has a total area of 2.18 mi˛ (5.65 sq km), it is the 388th largest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.
