Perry City is a one of the Dallas County, Iowa, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 7633 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 9569, It is 47th most populous in Iowa. The city has a total area of 3.71 square miles (9.61 square kilometre), of which, 3.7 square miles (9.58 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 104th largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
