Pen Argyl Borough is a borough in the Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 3615 inhabitants. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3627, giving it the 382nd largest population among Pennsylvania. The borough extends throughout a territory of 1.4 square miles (3.63 sq km ), of which, 1.39 square miles (3.6 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 565th largest by total area among Pennsylvania.

In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 26.7% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 31% from 25 to 44, 20.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 91.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.9 males.
