Pemberton Borough is a one of the Burlington County, New Jersey, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. Pemberton Borough had an official population of 1210 in 2000. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1540, It is the 44th least populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough extends throughout a territory of 0.61 sq mi (1.58 sq km ), of which, 0.59 square miles (1.53 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it New Jersey's 30th smallest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1210 people, 457 households, and 284 families residing in the borough. The population density was 2034.5 people per square mile (785.52/kmē), giving it the 167th least densely populated borough among the New Jersey. There were 513 housing units at an average density of 869.5 per square mile (335.72/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.56 persons, and the average family size was 3.06 persons. In the borough Age distribution was 26.8% under the age of 18, 9.5% from 18 to 24, 34.7% from 25 to 44, 20.1% from 45 to 64, and 8.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 103 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.6 males. The median age was 33.9 years, The median age of males was 32.9 years, for females the median age was 34.8 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 949 White, 154 Black or African American, 8 American Indian, 29 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 37 from two or more races and 33 Ohter races.
