Pell City City is a United States city located in the St. Clair County, Alabama, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 9565 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 12841, making it Alabama's 61st largest. The city comprises an area of 27.17 square miles (70.37 kmē), of which, 24.57 square miles (63.64 kmē) of it is land and 2.6 square miles (6.73 kmē) of it is water, making it the 26th largest by size in Alabama. It is ranks 11 in the size of its inland waterways in Alabama.
