Pelican City is a United States city located in the Skagway-Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 163 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 127, It is Alaska's 203rd largest by population . It has total area of 0.7 sq mi (1.81 square kilometre), of which, 0.58 square miles (1.5 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the sixth smallest by total area in Alaska.
