Pelham City is one of the city of Shelby County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 14369 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 21266, It is Alabama's 38th largest by population . The city comprises an area of 38.34 square miles (99.3 kmē), of which, 38 square miles (98.42 kmē) of it is land and 0.34 square miles (0.88 kmē) of it is water, it is the 21st largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
