It is the 140th largest in terms of population. The census designated place has a total area of 9.58 mi˛ (24.81 square kilometre), of which, 9.11 square miles (23.59 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.47 square miles (1.22 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 66th largest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
