It is home to over 1671 people (2000 census). making it the 660th most populous in New York. It has total area of 3.06 sq mi (7.93 sq km), of which, 2.7 square miles (6.99 sq km) of it is land and 0.36 square miles (0.93 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 370th largest by total area among New York.
