Pawnee County, Kansas is a county of the United States of Kansas. Pawnee County had an official population of 7233 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 6291, making it Kansas's 57th largest county. The county comprises an area of 754.56 square miles (1954.3 kmē), of which, 754.17 square miles (1953.29 kmē) of it is land and 0.38 square miles (0.98 kmē) of it is water, it is the 51st largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.
