Pauls Valley City is one of the city of Garvin County, Oklahoma, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Pauls Valley City had an official population of 6256 in 2000. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 6121, making it the 57th most populous in Oklahoma. It has total area of 8.45 sq mi (21.89 sq km), of which, 8.34 square miles (21.6 sq km) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 124th largest by total area in Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 6256 people, 2475 households, and 1592 families living in the city. The population density was 749.9 people per square mile (289.54/kmē), it is the 279th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.
