Paulding County is a one of the county from Ohio's 88 counties, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The county has a population of 20293 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 19096, making it Ohio's sixth smallest county. It is spread over 418.9 sq mi (1084.95 kmē), of which, 416.26 square miles (1078.11 kmē ) of it is land and 2.64 square miles (6.84 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 26th smallest by total area in Ohio.

For every 100 females there were 96.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.4 males. Its population was estimated at 19096 in July 2008, The racial makeup of the county was 18523 White, 260 Black or African American, 62 American Indian, 33 Asian, 3 Native Hawaiian, and 215 from two or more races.
