Pascagoula City is one of the city of Jackson County, Mississippi, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 26200 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 23609, making it Mississippi's tenth largest. The city comprises an area of 18.22 sq mi (47.19 square kilometre), of which, 15.18 square miles (39.32 square kilometre) of it is land and 3.05 square miles (7.9 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 24th largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks sixth in the size of its inland waterways in Mississippi.
