Parsons City is a city located in Labette County, Kansas, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 11514. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 11065, It is Kansas's 30th largest by population . Its area is just over 10.36 square miles (26.83 sq km), it is the 21st largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 11514 people, 4738 households, and 2908 families residing in the city. The population density was 1111.2 people per square mile (429.04/kmē), it is Kansas's 280th most densely populated city.
