Parkville City is a city located in Platte County, Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 4059 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 5279, It is the 158th most populous in the U.S. state of Missouri. It covers total area of 7.47 sq mi (19.35 square kilometre), of which, 6.92 square miles (17.92 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.56 square miles (1.45 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 79th largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.
