Park City City is one of the city of Sedgwick County, Kansas, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 5814 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 7787, making it Kansas's 52nd largest. The city encompasses an area of 5.66 sq mi (14.66 sq km ), of which, 5.65 square miles (14.63 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 41st largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5814 residents, 2046 households, and 1619 families in the city. The population density was 1029.4 people per square mile (397.45/kmē), making its Kansas's 306th most densely populated city. There were 2200 housing units at an average density of 389.4 per square mile (150.35/kmē). The average household size was 2.84 and the average family size was 3.19. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 32.1% under the age of 18, 9.1% from 18 to 24, 32.4% from 25 to 44, 19.3% from 45 to 64, and 7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 102.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.5 males. The median age is 30.4 years, The median age of males was 29 years, for females the median age was 31.2 years. The racial makeup of the city was 91.09% White, 2.36% Black or African American, 1.38% American Indian, 0.48% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 1.44% from two or more races and 3.25% Other races.
