Paris City, Idaho


Paris City is one of the city of Bear Lake County, Idaho, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 576. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 483, making it Idaho's 115th largest. It is spread over 3.52 mi˛ (9.12 square kilometre), of which, 3.49 square miles (9.04 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 35th largest by area in the U.S. state of Idaho.

As of the census of 2000, there were 576 people, 218 households, and 169 families living in the city. The population density was 165.2 people per square mile (63.78/km˛), it is the 18th least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Idaho. There were 292 housing units at an average density of 83.7 per square mile (32.32/km˛). It has an average household size was 2.64 persons, and the average family size was 3.09 persons. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 30.7% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 21% from 25 to 44, 24.5% from 45 to 64, and 16.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.6 males. The median age is 38.2 years, the median age of male residents at 39 and the median age of female residents at 36.5. The racial makeup of the city was 571 White, 2 Black or African American, 1 American Indian, Asian, Native Hawaiian, from two or more races and 2 Ohter races.
