Parchment City is a United States city located in the Kalamazoo County, Michigan, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1936 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1808, making it the 323rd most populous in Michigan. It covers total area of 0.89 mi˛ (2.31 square kilometre), of which, 0.86 square miles (2.23 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 82nd smallest by total area among Michigan.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1936 people in the city, organized into 822 households, and 532 families living in the city. The population density was 2263.6 people per square mile (873.98/km˛), it is Michigan's 117th most densely populated city.
