Paramount City is a one of the Los Angeles County, California, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. The city has a population of 55266 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 55236, giving it the 135th largest population among California. The city spans an area of 4.84 square miles (12.54 sq km), of which, 4.73 square miles (12.25 sq km) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 sq km) of it is water, making it California's 550th largest by total area.
