Palmyra Town is a one of the Harrison County, Indiana, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 633 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 713, It is the 196th least populous in the U.S. state of Indiana. The town spans an area of 0.99 miē (2.56 kmē), of which, 0.93 square miles (2.41 kmē) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 290th largest by total area in Indiana.

As of the census of 2000, there were 633 people, 238 households, and 170 families living in the town.
