Its population was estimated at 14284 in July 2008, It is Florida's 218th largest by population . It is spread over 4.45 square miles (11.53 sq km), of which, 4.32 square miles (11.19 sq km ) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 sq km) of it is water, making it Florida's 375th largest by total area.
