Palmer Lake Town is a town located in El Paso County, Colorado, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The population of the town was 2179 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 2326, It is 139th most populous in Colorado. Its area is just over 3.08 sq mi (7.98 sq km), of which, 3.06 square miles (7.93 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 133rd largest by total area in Colorado.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2179 people in the town, organized into 843 households, and 571 families residing in the town. The population density was 712.4 people per square mile (275.06/kmē), making its Colorado's 221st most densely populated town. There were 944 housing units at an average density of 308.5 per square mile (119.11/kmē). The average household size was 2.58 people, and the average family size was 3.15 people.
