Palm Beach Gardens City is a city located in Palm Beach County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 35058 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 49227, It is 75th most populous in Florida. The city has a total area of 55.93 mi˛ (144.86 square kilometre), of which, 55.68 square miles (144.21 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.25 square miles (0.65 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Florida's 14th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 35058 people in the city, organized into 15599 households, and 10213 families residing in the city. The population density was 629.6 people per square mile (243.09/km˛), giving it the 204th least densely populated city among the Florida. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 32878 White, 806 Black or African American, 38 American Indian, 754 Asian, 11 Native Hawaiian, 336 from two or more races and 235 Ohter races.
