Palestine City, Anderson County, Texas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. It is home to over 17598 people (2000 census). The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 18390, making it the 130th most populous in Texas. The city spans an area of 17.88 sq mi (46.31 square kilometre), of which, 17.7 square miles (45.84 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.18 square miles (0.47 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 137th largest by size in Texas.
