Palatka City is a city in the Putnam County, Florida, United States. The population of the city was 10033 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 10813, It is the 269th largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 7.53 miē (19.5 kmē ), of which, 6.96 square miles (18.03 kmē) of it is land and 0.58 square miles (1.5 kmē) of it is water, making it Florida's 238th largest by total area.
