Pacific County is a county in the United States of Washington. It is home to over 20984 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 21271, It is the 11th least populous county in the U.S. state of Washington. It covers total area of 1223.5 square miles (3168.85 square kilometre), of which, 932.97 square miles (2416.38 square kilometre) of it is land and 290.52 square miles (752.44 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 12th smallest by total area in Washington. It is ranks seventh in the size of its inland waterways in Washington.

As of the census of 2000, there were 20984 people, 9096 households, and 5886 families residing in the county. The population density was 22.5 people per square mile (8.69/kmē), it would be the 24th most densely populated county in the U.S. state of Washington. There were 13991 housing units at an average density of 15 per square mile (5.79/kmē). The average household size was 2.27 persons, and the average family size was 2.77 persons. In the Pacific County, 21.4% of the population was under the age of 18, 6% were 18 to 24, 21.2% were 25 to 44, 28.9% were 45 to 64, and 22.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 98.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.8 males. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 21271, The racial makeup of the county was 91.96% White, 0.49% Black or African American, 2.6% American Indian, 2.11% Asian, 0.09% Native Hawaiian, and 2.75% from two or more races.
