Oxnard City is a one of the Ventura County, California, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 170358 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 185717, It is the 20th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 36.59 square miles (94.77 kmē), of which, 25.31 square miles (65.55 kmē) of it is land and 11.28 square miles (29.22 kmē) of it is water, it is the 63rd largest by area in the U.S. state of California.
