Oxford Town is a town located in the Talbot County, Maryland, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Oxford Town is home to 771 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 706, It is the 74th least populous in the U.S. state of Maryland. The town encompasses an area of 0.72 sq mi (1.86 kmē ), of which, 0.5 square miles (1.29 kmē) of it is land and 0.22 square miles (0.57 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 76th smallest by total area in Maryland.
