Oxford City is a city located in Johnson County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. It is home to over 705 people (2000 census). Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 693, It is the 377th largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.52 mi˛ (1.35 sq km ), it is the 621st largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
