As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 24855, It is the 37th most populous in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It covers total area of 12.67 sq mi (32.82 kmē), of which, 12.6 square miles (32.63 kmē) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 88th largest by total area in Minnesota.
