Ovilla City is one of the city of Ellis and Dallas counties, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 3405 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3961, making it Texas's 450th largest. The city spans an area of 5.71 sq mi (14.79 square kilometre), it is the 381st largest in terms of geographical size.
