Overland City is a city located in St. Louis County, Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 16838 as per the Census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 15632, making it the 41st most populous in Missouri. The city encompasses an area of 4.4 sq mi (11.4 square kilometre ), of which, 4.38 square miles (11.34 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 139th largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.
