Outagamie County, Wisconsin is a county of the United States of Wisconsin. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 160971 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 174993, It is the sixth most populous county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The county has a total area of 644.4 miē (1668.99 kmē), of which, 640.34 square miles (1658.47 kmē) of it is land and 4.06 square miles (10.52 kmē) of it is water, it is the 20th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

The population density was 251.4 people per square mile (97.07/kmē), giving it the tenth most densely populated county among the Wisconsin. There were 62614 housing units at an average density of 97.8 per square mile (37.76/kmē). The average household size was 2.61 people, and the average family size was 3.14 people. In the county the population was distributed as follows: 27.7% under the age of 18, 8.9% from 18 to 24, 31.9% from 25 to 44, 20.7% from 45 to 64, and 10.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.9 males. Its population was estimated at 174993 in July 2008, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 94.08% White, 0.89% Black or African American, 1.58% American Indian, 2.39% Asian, 0.04% Native Hawaiian, and 1.02% from two or more races.
