Otter Lake Village is a city located in Lapeer and Genesee counties, Michigan, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 437 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 411, making it Michigan's 77th smallest. The city spans an area of 0.76 mi˛ (1.97 sq km), of which, 0.68 square miles (1.76 sq km) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 sq km) of it is water, it is the 56th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.

As of the census of 2000, there were 437 people in the city, organized into 154 households, and 117 families living in the city. The population density was 643.3 people per square mile (248.38/km˛), it is the 160th least populated city in terms of population density. There were 174 housing units at an average density of 255.9 per square mile (98.8/km˛). The average household size was 2.84 persons, and the average family size was 3.18 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 29.7% under the age of 18, 8% from 18 to 24, 30.7% from 25 to 44, 19.7% from 45 to 64, and 11.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 100.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.7 males.
