Otsego City is a one of the Wright County, Minnesota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 6389 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 13874, It is the 114th most populous in the U.S. state of Minnesota. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 30.34 square miles (78.58 square kilometre), of which, 29.37 square miles (76.07 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.97 square miles (2.51 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 42nd largest by total area in Minnesota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 6389 people in the city, organized into 2062 households, and 1674 families living in the city. The population density was 217.5 people per square mile (83.98/kmē), it would be the 195th least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
