Oshkosh City is a United States city located in the Winnebago County, Wisconsin, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 62916 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 63679, It is eighth most populous in Wisconsin. It has total area of 24.41 mi˛ (63.22 square kilometre), of which, 23.63 square miles (61.2 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.78 square miles (2.02 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 20th largest by size in Wisconsin.

The median age of the city's population was 32.4 years, The median age of males was 31.4 years, for females the median age was 33.6 years. The racial makeup of the city was 58339 White, 1376 Black or African American, 326 American Indian, 1908 Asian, 17 Native Hawaiian, 616 from two or more races and 334 Ohter races.
