Osakis City, Douglas and Todd counties, Minnesota is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 1567 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1572, It is the 271st largest by population in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It has total area of 2.13 mi˛ (5.52 square kilometre), of which, 2.01 square miles (5.21 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 295th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
