Osage City is a United States city located in the Mitchell County, Iowa, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 3451 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 3427, It is the 100th largest by population in the U.S. state of Iowa. It is spread over 2.09 miē (5.41 kmē), it is the 182nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
