Oronogo City is a city located in Jasper County, Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 976 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2174, giving it the 364th largest population among Missouri. It is spread over 2.04 square miles (5.28 kmē), of which, 2.02 square miles (5.23 kmē ) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, it is the 256th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 976 people in the city, organized into 350 households, and 264 families residing in the city. The population density was 484.1 people per square mile (186.91/kmē), it would be the 221st least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Missouri.
