Orchard City, Mitchell County, Iowa is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 88 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 86, It is the 81st least populous in the U.S. state of Iowa. Its area is just over 0.09 sq mi (0.23 sq km), it is the 16th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
